+We have recently had hackathons in the SIPB office approximately once a month, which are good places to find a project to get involved with. In addition to working on the regular SIPB projects, SIPB has in the past had hackathons dedicated to squashing Debian release bugs, as well as Documentathons dedicated to writing documentation for a variety of SIPB services.
